Therian Mask Policies

Commissions are closed currently.

 

Commissioned Therian masks can be anywhere from $75 - $200. Complexity, Materials, Time, Dangerous work, and deadlines will affect these prices. If a client disappears or stops paying, the commission will be canceled and any work/materials may be repurposed or finished commission work might be sold you someone else. If I do not receive necessary info (ref sheet, payment, etc.) within 30 days, your slot may be canceled without refund. I prefer customers to pay 50% upfront, 50% before shipping. The project is not fully refundable after materials are purchased or work has started.  Larger partial refunds may be considered in case of cancellation early in the process.  Design changes are allowed after work has started but they will have a fee. Usually a Therian Mask commission can take anywhere from 1 day to 3 months. Delays may occur due to queue, illness, or supply issues. I will update customers very often and expect them to be active during this process. All custom designs must be approved by you before construction begins. You will receive progress photos at key stages and requested progresses. I may share work-in-progress or final images on my website. 

I live with cats and dogs and often visit horses, My workspace contains faux fur, hot glue, foam, and other crafting materials. If you have sensitivities, please notify me beforehand.

I use USPS for shipping, shipping prices are not included in the price. I’m not responsible for postal service damage or loss once the item is shipped. 

You may wear, photograph, and post about the item. I must be credited in 50% or more of the exposure (example: You post 10 pictures, credits to my website and etsy must be in 5 or more of them) Do not claim you made my work. I retain rights to use photos for my portfolio, website, or social media, though I will make sure I give proper credit or you may request to remain anonymous. My work is not for resales without my permission. 

I offer repairs, it depends on the situation, fees may occur. 

I won't replicate copyrighted characters or another maker’s design, not even my own work, though I can take inspiration from my work such as similar ears or markings. You must have a clear original reference sheet or detailed description before I begin. I will not work off vague ideas.

I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason. Abusive, dishonest, policy breaking, or chargeback insist clients may be blacklisted.

Clients must be 18 years or older, or have parent/guardian consent. You have a choice to communicate over Etsy or Gmail. 

Your contact information will never be shared or sold. It is used solely for communication and shipping. 

My masks are for personal, cosplay, or spiritual use. They are not medical devices or safety gear.

I will not create NSFW or adult themed items. 

Some masks may limit vision or breathing slightly, let me know if you need to have more vision, breathability, airflow, etc. 

In my masks I may use elastic, adjustable straps, or other fastenings. If you have a preference, tell me before I begin.

 

By commissioning me, you agree to all the terms listed in this policy. It is your responsibility to read and understand them before sending payment.
